Ecolabel
The ECOLABEL trademark is the recognition that the European Union grants to "Friends of the Environment" products manufactured with low energy consumption and minimum air and water pollution.
Every ECOLABEL product has the European daisy symbol, a guarantee for consumers of a quality product and environmental protection.
Cartiere Cariolaro S.p.A. has always used active pro-environment strategies, giving preference to pulp paper as the raw material for the production of its own high quality ecological papers.
Harpa paper for photocopies and Polar and Editor printing papers, produced with 100% waste paper and without the use of chlorine, have been given the ECOLABEL trademark by the ECOLABEL-ECOAUDIT COMMITTEE, in guarantee of their environment-friendly production processes.
The products with the ECOLABEL mark are manufactured in respect of the environment and fulfil, among other things, the requisites that allow for limiting to a minimum the emissions into the water (COD, AOx), into the air (S, NOx, CO2), and the use of fuels and energy.
The Harpa product is a recycled ecological paper, suitable for all types of photocopiers, black and white laser printers, inkjet printers and fax machines, available in A4 size.
The Polar and Editor papers are all recycled environment-friendly papers, designed for offset and rotoffset printing of magazines, catalogues and printed advertising material in general.
